About Us

We love our little cottage...and we want your stay to be as perfect as possible! The name Clayton Cottage was chosen because we had relatives by that name who moved to this area of Northumberland in the 19th Century. One of them was a stone mason at Bamburgh Castle during its restoration.

You will find your stay comfortable and a 'home-from-home'. Games, books, smart TV, maps, local leaflets, information on walks, wifi on superfast broadband, BBQ equipment, etc... all you will need for a lovely self-catering holiday.
